Hope you all had a wonderful Easter. Ours was quiet as my MIL was taken ill last week and is still in hospital, so any plans were put on hold. She seems well in herself, but has very suddenly and permanently lost the sight in one eye - something that must be very difficult to come to terms with.
This also means the kitchen cupboards have not been finished. I mean, they're ALMOST finished - just the two largest ones to be painted and a few others to be waxed. They will have to wait now because....
I'm off on a trip tomorrow, so I won't be around for a week or two. I'll tell you all about it when I get back. In the meantime, stay well, happy and crafty.
Blessings,
Andi xx
So sorry to hear that your MIL is having difficulty. Hopefully there is a remedy and if not, then a support group to help to adjust.
ReplyDeleteStay safe on your trip.
Sorry to hear about your MIL. Mine lost her sight suddenly several years ago due to macular degeneration. She has very little eyesight left but manages amazingly well. However, it's been a huge adjustment.
ReplyDeleteHope your trip is a fun one!
