How times have changed

A friend of mine posted this on his Facebook page this morning.
I loved it, thought you would too, so I'm sharing it here.

    1. You mean you don't wear lipstick when sewing? How can you live with yourself? :)

  2. I always find it fascinating to get a glimpse of the mindset of women in the past. There's actually something sweet about way this seamstress relishes her creative time behind the sewing machine. It's obvious that this is a way she 'gave' to herself. And it's not so different than how I feel about my creative projects or my reading. Although the dressing up part is definitely passé. At least in my world hahahaha

    1. JK Rowling, when asked how she found time to write, replied something like 'I didn't do housework for two years'. Now that's my kind of thinking!

  3. Hi Andie, I had to smile at your comment on Going Gently today. I thought as a fellow sufferer I should come over and say hi. It's not that he doesn't have stuff to do, it's the fact I have to plan his day-every day.
